The CWC is here to serve UF students.

CWC's counselors are here to support UF Students in their educational journey and to help them achieve their personal wellness goals along the way. Our primary commitment is to ensure that each student is connected with the best-fitting campus or community resources to meet their needs.

Enrolled UF students are eligible for our services. Our services are covered by the student health fee. Learn more about eligibility & fees.

MORE ABOUT CRISIS SUPPORT

WHAT IS A CONSULTATION?

A consultation is not a therapy session; it is a structured 20-30 minute meeting to gather information about your situation and what CWC services would best fit your needs. During your consultation, we will suggest appropriate resources and next steps. We consider all the resources at the CWC to provide the best options for your unique situation.

Additionally, we may suggest other on-campus partners for resources such as coaching or tutoring, or off-campus providers when students could benefit from more specialized and/or longer-term care. If services and support in our off-campus network are best for your needs, we will provide you with information on these options.

BEFORE YOUR CONSULTATION

You will be asked to submit multiple forms prior to your consultation. If you call, you will receive them via email to complete & submit before you arrive for your consultation. Please have your Gator 1 ID on-hand throughout this process & during any appointments with us.
