International Education Week 2025

UF Gator International Focus Team (UFGIFT) is hosting a series of events to celebrate International Education Week. Come be a part of our fun events!

SCHEDULE:

🪔 Essential Oils for Stress Relief

Monday, 11/17 | 1:30-2:30pm

Location: UF International Center Large Conference Room

Take a few minutes break to make your own essential oil. The aroma from the oil could help take you out of your busy mind to your body for a moment, cultivating the calmness needed to navigate the stress as we approach the end of the semester.

☕️ International Teatime

Monday, 11/17 | 3-4pm

Location: International Center Large Conference Room

The UF Gator International Focus Team (UF GIFT) is hosting “International Tea Time” where you can meet, talk with, and simply spend time getting to know one another. It’s a great opportunity to learn about other people and make friends from around the world. Potential topics include challenges and successes adjusting to another culture, building a community, fun things to do in Gainesville, etc. Domestic students are welcome to attend as well.

Snacks and tea will be provided. Look forward to having you!

🎨 International Grad Students Mix & Mingle: Crafting with GFH

Tuesday, 11/18 | 11am-1pm

Location: Diamond Village Commons Room

Come join us celebrate the International Education Week by socializing with fellow international graduate students and make some buttons/ keychains/ fridge magnets for keepsakes. Light refreshments will be provided.

🪢 Knot Your Stress with GatorWell

Tuesday, 11/18 | 6-8pm

Location: Library Marston

This event will be in collaboration with Crafting Care, a crochet mental health student organization that will implement stress management strategies and a stress ball workshop for students as the semester finishes and exams emerge.
At the main office lobby, we will have the following activities available for students:

• Essential Oils
• Origami

Wednesday, 11/19 | 1:15-2:30pm

Location: International Center Large Conference Room

Take a break from your studies and come join us for a fun time connecting with other international students through board games!

Thursday, 11/20 | 1–4pm

Location: Library West, Room 212

Join us for an afternoon of games, fun, and community as part of International Education Week! Stop by to relax, meet new people, and learn about library resources that support global learning and engagement.
