Welcome to CWC’s UF Faculty & Staff Lounge!
The “lounge” was created to support our campus community with resources specific to collegiate mental health which supports our faculty and staff in working with university students. The lounge includes a variety of resources designed to educate, improve skills, and help support students experiencing a range of challenges, including feeling down, increased anxiety, difficulty concentrating, strained relationships, substance use, and/or lack of motivation.
We invite you to join us in creating a campus culture of care by visiting your lounge to learn more about how you can support mental health among students and to develop skills that foster healing, growth, and development. Visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Register for CWC’s Faculty & Staff workshops and presentations.
- Download resource guides with tips, strategies, and information related to campus resources available for students in distress (e.g., Orange Folder).
- Access mental health-related content to add to syllabi and academic courses.
- Access digital resources, such as videos, graphics, presentations, etc.

Your course syllabus is a great opportunity to send a positive signal of your support for students' learning and well-being by including recommendations and encouragement for students to take care of themselves and seek help when needed. This section of your syllabus can also provide students with important information for getting help, including direct links and contact information for support services. And, if you feel so inclined, this section is also a place to directly invite students to reach out to you when they have questions or need help. We invite you to consider incorporating one of the following messages within your syllabus:
