Professional Interests

Dr. Lee’s professional interests include helping individuals experiencing anxiety and depression improve their personal functioning. He is also interested in using technology to enhance the mental health of those he works with.

Approach to Therapy

Dr. Lee utilizes an integrative psychotherapy approach, incorporating a wide range of treatments to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of his clients. He is well versed in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and his treatment approach balances warmth and support with efficiency and progress.

Approach to Supervision

Dr. Lee provides a developmental approach to supervision. He works collaboratively with each trainee to identify their strengths and growth areas to help define the focus of supervision (i.e., intervention, conceptualization, personalization) and the optimal supervisory style (i.e., teacher, consultant). He strives to be genuine, respectful and supportive in his relationships with supervisees so as to create an environment that facilitates reflection, learning and growth.

Approach to Wellness

Dr. Lee attempts to establish balance in his life by emphasizing personal and professional learning, mindfulness, exercise, and time with family. He also enjoys running, learning about the latest technology, watching TV and movies, and travel.
