Join the UF Counseling & Wellness Center for Suicide Prevention Week 2026, TBA, as we celebrate community building as prevention. With suicide being the second leading cause of death among college-age individuals, this week's campaign highlights how socializing and building meaningful connections serve as essential protective factors against burnout and depression.
Discover how strong connections within our Gator community enhance mental wellbeing and academic success while breaking down harmful stigmas that prevent students from seeking help. Whether you want to strengthen your support network, learn to recognize warning signs in others, or discover ways to have meaningful conversations about mental health, this week provides valuable opportunities to connect in a supportive environment.
