Movie Mondays

A space to meet new people and connect by watching/discussing movies.

Why Movies?

  • Connecting with characters, plots, and themes can have therapeutic properties.
  • Discussing topics around a movie watched with peers can boost a sense of connection to others and help develop some interpersonal skills.
  • Movies can be a great source of stress relief and can boost the release of endorphins, the body’s natural “feel good” chemicals.
  • Movies and discussions around a movie take the pressure off of having to "come up" with topics while learning to connect with others.

Therapeutic Gaming

Did you know that gaming has some therapeutic components that can contribute to mental/emotional wellbeing and self-care?

Learn how to incorporate wellness through various gaming activities. Prior experience is not needed, everyone is welcome.
