Approach to Therapy

I use a holistic and eclectic approach to counseling, drawing from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Choice Theory/Reality Therapy, Art Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help individuals focus on what is in their control and make change when they are ready. I believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is at the core of therapy and is essential to therapeutic progress. Through building and nurturing this relationship, the client can access their own, unlocked, self-confidence and abilities.

Approach to Wellness

It is important to have many, varied activities to draw on for wellness but also know that when I need these the most it can be difficult to identify what will help. I work with my clients to develop a physical list of activities that feed their soul to use in these moments.
