Professional Interests

Dr. Agnew’s interests include neurodiversity, existential concerns, adjustment to disability and chronic health conditions, intersectionality, and integrated care.

Approach to Therapy

Dr. Agnew utilizes a strengths-based, integrative approach to therapy including humanistic, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapy interventions. She strives to empower individuals to live authentically and thrive.

Approach to Supervision

Dr. Agnew’s approach to supervision is developmental, collaborative, and tailored to trainees’ needs and interests. She works to create a safe and supportive space for trainees as they navigate the twists and turns of cultivating their professional and personal identities.

Approach to Wellness

Dr. Agnew prioritizes self-care and work-life balance to ensure she helps clients to the best of her ability. She believes that no matter how many life roles we have, we are people first and must take care of ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. Dr. Agnew enjoys spending time with friends and family, being in nature, swimming, volunteering, watching college football and cartoons, learning new languages with Duolingo, and reading.
