Professional Interests

My clinical interests include trauma, survivors of violence, intimate partner violence, identity, the impact of oppression on mental health, relationships, and couples therapy. In my clinical career, I've facilitated a large number of counseling groups and have experience working with trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, life changes, and many other client concerns.

Approach to Therapy

I work collaboratively and nonjudgmentally alongside my clients, highlighting their strengths while gently challenging them in their growth toward increased self-awareness and empowerment. I do this by integrating techniques from Relational Cultural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.

Approach to Supervision

As a supervisor, I'm very aware of the dynamics of power and connection. With this, my supervision style is rooted in principles of collaboration, empowerment, and mutual growth. I believe in working with supervisees to create a secure and supportive space where they can develop and sharpen their therapeutic skills, reflect, and challenge themselves.

Approach to Wellness

My most significant form of self-care is laughter. I also enjoy spending time with my favorite people and finding opportunities to be creative, often editing videos or doing graphic design.

Other Activities

I'm super inquisitive and incredibly passionate about education and consultation. I also partner with local nonprofits and organizations to train staff on trauma, crisis, identity, and intimate partner violence. Overall, I'm always seeking opportunities to learn and grow as a professional and as a human.
