Professional Interests

I am passionate about helping people with many kinds of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, and trauma recovery. Working with adults who have experienced childhood trauma is my bread and butter, although I work with all kinds of trauma and its effects on mental health. I enjoy working with people experiencing family issues and relationship struggles. I am interested in helping people at different points in their healing journeys, whether that means helping in a crisis, healing afterwards, or facilitating growth and prosperity in their life.

Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is humanistic, person-centered, compassionate, and down to earth. I meet my clients where they are, and tailor my therapeutic approaches to their needs. I use a trauma-sensitive approach with all clients and incorporate mindfulness and somatic techniques to facilitate healing as needed. I have training in somatic approaches to trauma treatment, including Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga. I also have a background in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and have experience working with clients in crisis.

Approach to Wellness

I believe in finding what works for you and prioritizing meeting your needs across multiple dimensions in your life. Personally, I utilize mindfulness practices such as meditation and yoga, eating delicious food, spending time in nature, making time for friendships that energize me, and spending as much time as possible with my daughter and partner!

Other Activities

I am an avid rock hunter; you may find me digging in the dirt or walking in a creek looking for crystals and fossils. I love music, hiking, and most of all, coffee!
