Spring 2021 LGBTQ+ Events & Workshops

This semester we are proud to be holding a series of events in collaboration with UF LGBTQ+ Affairs. Find the schedule and links to RSVP below. Some dates are tentative and we’ll be updating those closer to the dates.

LGBTQ+ Friendly Check-ins

If you have questions about CWC services, or what counseling is, and want someone to consult with regarding your situation a counselor who has experience working with LGBTQ+ population will be available for a 30 minute consultation.

Faithfully Queer – 2/15, 6-7:30pm

Join Gator Wesley, the Counseling and Wellness Center, and LGBTQ+ Affairs for a panel discussion featuring those at the intersection of faith and queerness.

Being a person of faith and identifying as LGBTQ+ comes with unique challenges. You’re not alone, your identities are valid and you do not have to choose one over the other. Our panelists will share their journeys and the ways that their faith have informed their LGBTQ+ identities and their lived experiences.
