Professional Interests

Rich enjoys working with college students from a variety of backgrounds in both individual and group settings. Clinical interests include identity development, anxiety, resilience, and LGBTQ+ and gender issues. Rich’s research interests focus on improving the general and vocational well-being of marginalized and underserved groups.

Approach to Therapy

Rich’s approach to therapy is a largely client-centered integrative approach. He draws from a multicultural-feminist framework along with relational and strengths-based approaches to inform his work.

Approach to Supervision

His approach to supervision is collaborative and supportive. He engages in therapist-focused supervision to help supervisees process their interactions with clients.

Approach to Wellness

Some of Rich’s favorite wellness activities include painting, playing board games, and exploring various nature sites throughout Florida.
