Approach to Therapy
Cognitive-Behavioral in technique, Humanistic in approach, and Psychodynamic in formulation, for an adaptive, integrative orientation.
Approach to Supervision
Dr. Greene approaches supervision from an interpersonal and developmental perspective, and tends to provide extensive content and process feedback. He prefers a collaborative, less formal style and values interaction and mutual contribution in shaping the supervision experience.
Approach to Wellness
Dr. Greene is very keen on balance with intensity; he strives to work really hard, play really hard, and rest with enthusiasm. His day begins with seeking a place of inner peace through spiritual solitude, and he tries to maintain that place throughout the day regardless of what else occurs. Eating right and getting exercise is critical to his well-being, so he gets out for lunch daily, and regularly enjoys either working out at the gym, racquetball, tennis, softball or swimming. He also enjoys oil painting for his more aesthetic creative needs.
Dr. Greene is President of the Board of the Cultural Arts Coalition, a local organization that focuses on using the arts to empower the African American community, and is very active in his place of worship.
