Professional Interests

My professional interests are varied and evolving, but I enjoy career counseling, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention. I have worked in various roles in higher education as well as at a local non-profit with children and adolescents. I am especially passionate about working with international students as well as LGBTQ+ individuals and those going through life transitions.

Approach to Therapy

My approach is to meet clients where they’re at and create a space where they can feel safety, trust, and really feel heard. At my core, I am person-centered and strengths based, but also draw from solution-focused therapy, CBT, and mindfulness techniques.

Approach to Wellness

To me, wellness is all about being in tune with what I need that day, whether it be movement, rest, connection, or maybe just a good meal. One of the primary ways I stay active and connected to others is through playing roller derby as well as park skating. Practicing yoga, spending time outdoors and at the springs, being a cat mom, and immersing myself in a podcast, book, or good TV binge also add joy and balance to my life.
