Group Listings | Summer 2017

Interested in joining a summer group? Schedule the triage appointment with the front desk. Your triage counselor, or existing counselor or psychiatrist, will then refer you to a group screening appointment to determine if you will be a good fit for the group. Group spots are limited so contact us quickly. 

All groups meet at Radio Road location unless otherwise noted.

Themed Groups

Coping with Medical Challenges Mondays | 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Promote coping with personal medical challenges through integration of mind-body healing from a psychological perspective and shared support from others. Summer A.

Recovery Support (Peabody Hall) Mondays | 3:00 - 4:30 pm

Develop stress reduction and relapse prevention strategies, and gain strength from others in maintaining recovery. People in recovery from all addictions are welcome.

Sexual Assault Survivors Support Thursdays | 1:00 - 2:30 pm

Women survivors of an assault are welcome to begin or continue their healing journey while empowering them through connection with other survivors.

Success Not Excess (Peabody Hall) Tuesdays | 3:00 - 4:30 pm

Discuss your use of alcohol and other drugs in a non-judgmental setting. Develop an understanding of drugs of abuse and potential effects, identify warning signs for developing an addiction, and clarify values. Meets at Peabody Hall.

Work together to develop awareness of personal and relational patterns; to view life experience from many angles; and to create new ways of seeing, thinking and doing.

Wellness Recovery Action Plan ® (Peabody Hall) Thursdays | 2:45 - 4:45 pm

Participants develop personal plans for maintaining wellness and for addressing internal and external signals of increasing distress. Group emphasizes hope, personal responsibility, education, self-advocacy and support.
