Professional Interests

Ingrid is interested in trauma recovery, relationship issues, coping with health concerns, immigration histories, international students' adjustment, and community outreach. As a researcher, her work is focused on better understanding how intersecting cultural identities influence the ways we cope with life's challenges.

Ingrid enjoys spending down time at home with her two dogs, hanging out with friends, and exploring Gainesville!

Ingrid is a Student Representative for the International Section of APA Division 17 (Society of Counseling Psychology). She is also a member of Divisions 2 (Teaching Psychology), 52 (International Psychology), and 56 (Trauma Psychology).
