Individual counseling helps you achieve your greatest wellness by exploring your goals and concerns in a comfortable, private, and non-judgmental setting.
Counselors strive to understand you, help you explore your thoughts and feelings, and assist you in developing the skills and perspectives you desire.
Students are eligible for counseling services if registered for classes in the current semester. Individual sessions are offered on a short-term basis (usually 1-12 appointments), often weekly or every other week. Fee for services is covered by the tuition that registered students pay for that semester. And otherwise eligible students who are off semester may access individual counseling by paying the off-semester charge.
Your first contact will be a 20-minute interview with a counselor who will determine the most appropriate services for you, whether off-campus or in our center. In many instances, group counseling or life skills workshops are effective alternatives to individual counseling.
