Approach to Therapy
He provides individual, group, and couples counseling to students with a variety of clinical, vocational, and interpersonal issues and concerns. His therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to the client’s needs. He incorporates cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, integrative, person centered, existential, multicultural, and developmental approaches.
Approach to Wellness
Dr. Hernandez enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He likes to spend time at the beach, reading mystery novels, dancing, listening to music, and helping others.
Dr. Hernandez enjoys working with students. He has been the faculty advisor for the Hispanic Student Association at UF for 14 years. He has been involved with national and local counseling associations.
